In Love With: Capes

In Love With: Capes

Have you been closely following what’s happening in the wedding fashion scene?

If yes, then you must know that this season has brought us some true treasures that will blow us away.

I’m sure you’re familiar with trends that are coming and going, such as wedding dresses in nude and pinkish tones, black accents, sheer corsets, big bows etc. These trends always find their way back to the top popularity lists, but it is always refreshing when a new bold statement piece is brought to the most traditional dress of them all – the wedding dress. This season we’ve been blessed with a very unique piece – and as you’ve probably already guessed from the title – I’m talking about capes.

Wearing a cape with your wedding dress can make a true statement, but there are different kinds of capes that all create completely different looks, so let us take a closer look at them.

A cape is a multifunctional accessory, it can serve as a cover up that is often required for many wedding ceremonies. Further, it can also be an alternative for sleeves, if you’re looking for a way to cover your arms, but don’t want to go in the traditional direction.

If you think you won’t have much of a choice if you decide to go for a wedding dress with a cape, you couldn’t be more wrong.

Capes come so to say in all lengths and shapes – they can be simple, embellished, long, short – you name it.

We, of course, as you all know, always bring you the hottest straight-off-the-runway looks and capes are no exception.

Love,

Melanie
