How to plan a bridal shower?

Don’t you dare think that throwing a bridal shower is a piece of pie. It’s a very important and exciting task. To make the wedding shower happen you need to think every detail through: budget, guest list, theme, location, perfect playlist. Here you can see some ideas that were taken from real bridal showers that worked pretty well. You can use some of them to get creative, find inspiration, or just help you set on the right path. Because you want everything to be perfect it’s important you take into account every little thing. Little things make the party big:

  1. A Personal Bridal Shower Theme

The bachelorette party should be all about the bride. The theme should be about her too. Make the party special for your best friend, consider what she likes and wants and try to implement it all. But still try to keep the theme achievable and within your budget limits.

  1. The Right Guest List

While every other detail should be kept as a surprise, it’s nice to advise with the bride on a guest list to get her approval on everyone on the list. Don’t invite anyone who is not invited to the real wedding that could be awkward. However, you still can make her some surprise appearances, for example her grandma coming from out of town.

  1. A Great Location

Come up with the nice location where you can hold your themed party. It should set you to the right vibe and have all the essential facilities. You can choose to party at someone’s house or go to a nightclub or a nice restaurant, it doesn’t matter where till you have everyone important there.

  1. The Right Playlist

Playlist should set you on the right tone of the party. Fill the air with themed songs to keep the energy up. You can make the playlist yourself, or ask the groom to create a special playlist to ensure he has his say for the day. The other great idea is to launch a Spotify playlist a few weeks prior to the party and let all your guests to contribute by adding their favorite songs.

  1. An Easy-to-Follow Bridal Shower Dress Code

It will look great on bachelorette party pictures if you all can wear the same color palette or similar outfits. At least dress to a certain formality level but don’t expect anything super extra from your guests. Make sure to notify everyone about the dress code in advance, maybe even include the rules to the invitations.

  1. Some Wedding White

It’s a wedding-related activity so there should be something white. Your bride doesn’t have to look all bridal but she still has to show off her personality and the fact that she’s getting married.

  1. One All-Star Dish

I bet your best friend has a favorite dish she would choose to eat if it was her last meal on Earth. Add this dish to the table let it still all of attention. Make it look good and delicious. Everyone should take a bite of it.

  1. DIY Service

You can save up and at the same time make your party more creative. Don’t hire any third party staff but instead do all the service yourself. Let somebody mix your drinks, someone cook the dessert, etc.
