Made to your measurements, not to a size chart
Our standard sizes end at 4XL: a 108–112 cm (42½–44 in) bust, US 16, UK 20, EU 48. Above that, or whenever your bust, waist and hips fall in different sizes, choose Made to Measure on the gown's page. The dress is cut from your 21 body measurements, and the price is the same as for a standard size. Every gown in the catalogue can be ordered made to measure, so you are not limited to the gowns on this page.
Most gowns here are A-line: the skirt flares gradually from a fitted waist, is easy to sit and dance in, and works with most necklines. Mermaid and trumpet gowns follow the hips to the knee before the flare; made to measure, that fitted section is shaped to your own hip and waist-to-knee measurements. For the most volume, compare our princess and ball gown dresses.
Check each gown's details for support: nearly all gowns in this edit list a built-in bra, and most a corset bodice. Gowns with both are listed first. Sleeves, straps and neckline changes depend on the design. Some gowns list them as paid upgrades with their price; for anything else, ask us by chat, email or WhatsApp before you order and we will confirm what is possible.
Curvy, plus size or both: the words overlap, and neither changes how your dress is made. Our standard sizes run from XS to 4XL (US 2–16), and any set of measurements, inside that range or beyond it, is made to order at the same price. If your bust is the main question, our wedding dresses for a big bust list gowns with a built-in bra and straps or sleeves; for a fuller bust and hips with a defined waist, see our gowns for an hourglass figure.
You can enter your measurements in our guided form straight away, or choose Reserve & Measure Later and send them within 30 days. Our tailors check all measurements before production. Production takes 8–12 weeks for most gowns and 10–14 or 12–16 weeks for some; each gown's page shows its time. Delivery then takes 1–2 weeks.
What sizes do your plus size wedding dresses come in?
Standard sizes go up to 4XL (US 16, UK 20, EU 48; a 108–112 cm bust). Beyond that, choose Made to Measure on the gown's page and the dress is made from your 21 measurements.
Do plus size wedding dresses cost more?
No. Each gown has one price, whether you choose a standard size or Made to Measure, and your measurements don't change it. Optional paid upgrades, such as a longer train on some gowns, are listed with their price on the gown's page.
Which wedding dress silhouettes suit a plus size bride?
There is no single rule. A-line is the most common shape here because it skims the hips and is comfortable to wear all day. Mermaid and trumpet gowns show more of your shape, and a ball gown gives the most volume. Made to measure, each one is shaped to your own proportions.
How do I measure for a plus size wedding dress?
Measure over the bra and shapewear you will wear under the gown, keep the tape level and snug, and ask someone to help. Our size chart and measuring guide shows where each of the 21 measurements is taken, and our tailors check all measurements before production.
Can I add sleeves or straps to a plus size wedding dress?
It depends on the design. Some gowns offer sleeve or neckline options as paid upgrades on their page; for anything else, ask us by chat, email or WhatsApp before ordering and we will confirm whether it is possible and what it costs. You can also browse gowns that already have long sleeves.
Are these wedding dresses for curvy brides too?
Yes. Curvy and plus size often overlap, and what matters is that the gown is cut from your 21 measurements: a fuller bust, a defined waist or fuller hips are drafted as they are, at the same price as a standard size. If you prefer a standard size, they run from XS to 4XL (US 2–16).
